Quick Luddite Notes

🇷🇺 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 World’s top three mass murderers still alive: Putin, Trump, Netanyahu

● Trump (with Putin):

I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel. Between our TOTAL CONTROL of the Strait of Hormuz, and this great announcement on Russian Energy, Diesel Prices for Americans and, indeed, the World, will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my Greatest Priority. This is a very big and important announcement. Additionally, it must be understood, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

● U.S. Department of State, Press Statement by Marco Rubio, Secretary of State: Imposing Sanctions on the International Criminal Court

For decades, Republicans and Democrats alike rejected the idea that the International Criminal Court had the power to prosecute American citizens, military servicemembers, or political leaders. America never joined the court. We don’t need it. And we don’t want it.

But globalist “experts” an ocean away don’t care what American citizens think. They want the ICC to do more, including the prosecution of American citizens. Servicemembers defending their country, Border Patrol agents protecting our nation, and elected leaders ensuring our national security. They want more power, and they want it at our expense.

President Trump will never allow the International Criminal Court to prosecute Americans. That is why, today, the United States is sanctioning the International Criminal Court. We will ban transactions with this rogue court, cutting off their resources and crippling its ability to operate.

We have been clear for over a year as to the basic gestures of good faith we have expected from the court. We exercised discretion and deferred this designation out of respect for our relationships and in hopes that the ICC would change course or would otherwise be restrained by States Parties. However, neither the ICC nor States Parties have yet taken meaningful steps to address our concerns.

Despite their inaction, we hold out hope for a diplomatic solution. We have structured this action to provide an opportunity for States Parties to negotiate and present a solution to address our concerns. If these efforts do not bear fruit, we will continue to adjust accordingly.

Our message is clear: the United States and its people are not subject to the jurisdiction of the ICC. Both parties agree on this, but only President Trump has the resolve to take the action needed to end this threat for good. Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC. We expect our allies, many of whom are part of the ICC and that rely on American servicemembers for their defense, to rein in the court.

If they do not, the United States will continue its campaign to dismantle the ICC, brick by brick, until Americans are threatened no longer.

The ICC is being designated pursuant to section 1(a)(ii)(A) of Executive Order (E.O.) 14203.

● Reuters: Former ICC judge Navi Pillay wins 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

OSLO/NUREMBERG, Germany, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Navi Pillay, a former ICC judge who oversaw a UN report that concluded Israel committed genocide in Gaza, won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday "for her efforts to promote peace and international law".

Announcing the award hours before the US imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court, the Nobel Committee said in ‌its citation that recognising Pillay underlined the importance of maintaining an organised international order.

The 85-year-old South African has been a judge on several international courts, including the ICC and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

The Hague-based ICC has long been a target of US President Donald Trump, whose campaign against it has escalated since the court announced arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister.

Trump last month urged countries to leave the ICC and had already imposed targeted sanctions on several prosecutors and judges at the court. On Friday the US went further and imposed sanctions on the court itself.

"The system of international law is under tremendous pressure, and its institutions are under attack," the Nobel committee said in its citation, which made no reference to Trump, nor Israel.

"We see a shift towards power politics at the expense of legal frameworks and global respect for law and justice. Whenever might overtakes right, it undermines stability, trust and peaceful co-existence."

Pillay was also chair of the UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory that concluded last year that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza. Israel dismissed the report at the time as "scandalous".

Netanyahu's office condemned the award in a statement on X.

"The Nobel Prize committee has lost its moral compass," it said. "It has awarded its highest honour to a bigot who built her career around inventing and propagating blood libels against the one and only Jewish state."
